J. Phillip Griffith, who was a Southern Illinois native, founded Griffith Insurance in 1982. Phil grew up on the farm near Cobden, Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University. At its inception, Griffith Insurance specialized in Farm and Personal Lines as well as Group Health and Life Insurance. In 1993, the Agency started to expand its work into Commercial Lines to meet more of our client`s needs.

Griffith purchased the Agency from his father and continued to build on the reputation of "INSURANCE WITH INTEGRITY".
